Our Mission & Objectives

The UK-Azerbaijan Business Council aims to foster and enhance trade relations between the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan. By creating a platform for businesses from both countries to connect, collaborate, and grow, the council strives to support economic growth and mutual prosperity. 

The main goal of the Business Council is to build a robust partnership that benefits the business communities in both nations, via:

• Promotion of Bilateral Trade: Increase the volume of trade and investment between the UK and Azerbaijan by facilitating business opportunities and partnerships.
• Business Development: Provide resources, guidance, and networking opportunities to help businesses navigate the markets in both countries.
• Knowledge Exchange: Foster the exchange of expertise and best practices through workshops, seminars, and industry-specific events.
• Advocacy: Represent the interests of the business communities to governments and advocate for favourable trade policies and regulations.
• Strengthening Cultural Ties: Promote cultural understanding and relationships through business and social events.
